Scór na bPáistí Duhallow Finals took place on the 4th March 2023 in Kanturk. Boherbue NS had pupils in the set dancing competition, figure dancing competition, solo dancing, solo music, music groups, recitation, quiz and novelty acts. The pupils enjoyed great success with the following winning on the day. These pupils will now go forward to represent Boherbue NS in the County Semi-Finals in Ovens, Cork on the 11th March 2023.

Primary Science at BT Young Scientist 2023.
6th class were delighted to qualify to present at the 2023 Primary Science BT Young Scientist in the RDS, Dublin. Our project was called "Was it something I read?". We were delighted to have gotten the opportunity to meet Tánaiste Micheál Martin. We had the best time!
Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2022.
A huge well done to the community in Boherbue N.S. who kindly donated over 150 shoeboxes which will help children in need.
4th Class Football Blitz
A huge well done to 4th class who took part in the Primary School Football Blitz in Banteer. A great day was had by all.
Duhallow Schools Hurling Final 2022
A huge well done to 4th/5th/6th Class boys who got to the Duhallow Schools Hurling Final in Rathcoole. We were narrowly beaten by Kilbrin in what was an enthralling game of Hurling. Well done to Kilbrin! A huge thanks to parents who gave up their time to coach our hurlers. We will be back better than ever next year!
Launch of the Kerry Garda Síochána 7 aside Football Blitz 2022
Junior Entrepreneur Programme
The 6th class pupils took part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.
They created a number of products and sold them at the school gate on June 17th. They made a total profit of €1,080.
They kindly donated €170 to the Grace Kelleher Go Fund Me Fundraiser and used the rest of the money to fund their Graduation Celebration
(Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)
Eileen Murphy Rang 3 Teacher introduced coding to Boherbue NS.
The pupils began building, programming, and modifying Robots using Lego Wedo Kits borrowed from IT Tralee.
By working in teams the children had lots of fun engaging in projects like Milo, the science rover, Glowing snail. In teams it involved putting their problem solving and engineering skills to the test.
Walk for Water Day
Boherbue NS is currently working towards its third Green Flag for Water Conservation.
A “Walk for Water Day” was held on Wednesday June 9th. The children walked up to 5 KM with 5Litre bottles of water to highlight the challenges of obtaining and carrying water many miles in drought stricken countries.
All pupils and staff wore blue on the day.
6th Class pupils designed this Motto during Anti-Bullying Week
Mona Lisa in 4th Class
We really enjoyed making our very own Mona Lisa's in 4th class and they turned out great! We used oil pastels to add colour after firstly sketching them. This ties in with our current project topic - Italy.
