Step 3: Engineering

6th Class pupils visited the Confirm Project which is a University of Limerick funded project. Confirm believes in creating a community of practice where industry, researchers, and the general public can learn about smart manufacturing and industry. We investigated engineering on our trip to Confirm. We got to see how augmented reality works. We built and programed robots to do various tasks. We looked at how 3D printing works and got to print sheep! Some pupils even got to try out the sound proof room! We saw how robotics works with 3D printing.
